The Glasboy is a German product made by the family firm Riebsamen in Allmannsweiler.
The frame and chassis are made in the welding shop, then the components are sand-blasted, primed and painted at 73°C in our in-house paint shop. Our master engineers assemble and commission each Glasboy in our workshop. Every Glasboy undergoes stringent TÜV safety and overload tests and is CE certified.
- The Glasboy’s biggest load to date was a 4.5 m x 2.75 m window pane which was fitted from the inside out at a height of 4 m. The Glasboy was outside the building.
- The highest working height to date was a facade pane inserted at a height of 8.9 m. The pane measured 2.8 x 2.6 m.
- With its electric and diesel engine, the Glasboy can perform all its functions inside enclosed buildings with no problems at all - with no exhaust or noise.
- The suction head can be removed so that the Glasboy can be used as a crane.
